I'm Maria Krein. I am an Ordained Minister and certified event planner. I am honored to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth! The Hudson Valley has been my home for most of my life and I love sharing it with others. I was born and raised in Kingston, NY, and after a few brief hiatuses, I always found myself coming back here. I love living where I can enjoy all four seasons and have such magical areas all around me. Whether I want to go for a hike, a stroll by the water, or just enjoy a scenic, slow stroll with a magical backdrop, I can always find somewhere to suit my mood.
I am both creative and detail obsessed. And I just LOVE to see people happily in love! I can’t wait to share my passion with you!
I love volunteering in my local community for organizations that focus on literacy, feeding our community members and building a better future for the residents of the Hudson Valley. I also enjoy books, tea, baby animals, ranunculus and all things pretty. I started my Reiki journey in 2019 right here in the Hudson Valley, and love being surrounded by a community that fosters self-growth. I am obsessed with all things wedding!
I earned my wedding planning certificate from Eventrix, and am also an ordained minister- meaning I can legally marry you!

Hudson Valley
Adventure Elopements is the brain, love and soul child of what I envisioned for myself on my wedding day. I, like many other people, planned my wedding in my head (and on countless Pintrest boards) for as long as I could remember. Being a natural born planner did not prepare me for wedding planning! It took some serious time and dedication to narrow down my vision. I started with what I knew. I knew we wanted something intimate, we wanted to be up in the mountains, we wanted to have our dogs and we wanted to make the day a memorable adventure. We wanted a low-key kind of romantic day that would discredit the idea that anything that came up could ruin that day. That day was for us. That day was pure magic.
I immediately knew I wanted other people to have this kind of experience. It is such a beautiful thing to wander off the beaten path and celebrate your love in a setting authentic to who you are as a couple, and I will be there every step of the way to help plan, organize, and coordinate all the things that will make your day memorable.
I can't wait to hear all about your engagement and what you dream about for your big day! This is not just wedding planning, this is creating your wedding experience.
